I live really close to the bay, so i get a clear view of the horizon, or the sky as the sun seta anyway, everyday.

its usually very beautiful and different nearly everyday. Some days, i feel like i should paint the sky, because its like the sky is God's canvas, and every evening, God comes along and dips his paintbrush into our world, mixing the colours in the sky. Somedays, its a bit patchy, his work; its a bit more textured with white clouds, and the colour just bumps along these thick bits, a bit like when you use goauche thickly, and you put a layer of watercolour over is when you're finished.

Other days, God doesnt feel like painting at all, and the sky just remains grey.

Today, I think God decided to do a watercolour painting. The canvas was smoothly and evenly coloured with colour, no bumpy goauch bits, just pure watercolour with each colour blending into each, gliding across the smooth clouds. The sun had already set past the row of houses across the bay and i couldnts see it. It hid behind the purple clouds, but i could still see some of the orange rays; it ws like the sun was trying to cling onto day feebly!

i dont have a picture to show you guys, which is why i have to describe to you guys so graphically. I stood there for a few minutes just staring.
and i thought, the sky looks so flat, i wonder it would look like upside down!! so i tilted my head backwards, so i could only see the horizon of the bay and the sky. It looked as though the sky was just a ceiling. Really flat. no wonder ppl back then thought the globe was rectangular!! sometimes i think, what if there isnt a universe beyond us. God just trapped us like ants underneath a painted cardboard box, and all we can see is whats inside, which he changes daily, to give the illusion of time, while we feel self important. For all we know, God could just be a little boy!

For a moment after that, i felt llike i was actually living on the clouds. imagine if sprites and fairies lived in the clouds, but not ON the clouds, but underneath the clouds. Thats what they would look down and see, while they walk upisde down on the clouds. maybe theres a fairy version of me!

Called Regina Spektor :)

PS here is a picture i found, that looks similar to what i saw, but smoother, and more blue. i mean the sky was just blue and pink and purple and orange. hard to explain. and the water looks bluer and more like a mirror of the sky. MORE BOATS TOO. much wider view.

wow that is really amazing! Regina Spektor is quite awesome, I will reassure you of that :) I am so jealous of your view, all i can see is my road and my swimming pool in the morning, there is actually no horizon for me ): I must visit you one day!
