hi guys.
i feel pretty nervous....okay a little anyway, but i just had a coffee and went to a dance lesson, so my nerves are pretty....suppressed.
So anyway, last week, i sent in an application form to audition for the state drama ensemble. wow, im so nervous. today, they faxed the confirmation form back to me and i have to go all the way to lewisham public school to audition. on thursday. his thursday. the 18th. basically, u play 'drama games'. after the first two excercises, there will be an elimination. hopefully, there will be some shitty people there and i get to stay. although i have enough confidence to think that i can do it. for the next two days, i am going to say to myseld, i can do it, i can do it, i can do it. I BELIEVE IN THE POWER OF THE MIND. haha, thats also how you get into character for a monologue. im also going to think about some improvisation scenes, cos im a little weak at that. i will do cartwheels and sleep early. most importantly, I WILL HAVE CONFIDENCE. i have met people who have told me im not good enough, or game me the your not good enough look, yet, I DID WELL. STUFF YOU MOTHERFUCKERS WHO DO NOT THINK SO. see? my positive mindset is kicking in already. also, if i fail, failure can suck my non existent dick.
okay anyway, after that, we keep playing drama games and if you are good enough at the end of the day, theyll give you a callback and you can do a monologue.ive done a few monologues in my lifetime. so im not too scared. only one girl has ever got in in our school (Jessica Carosi) and shes pretty good.theres no reason why i cant get in.
luckily, taylor innes is coming with me. bless that girl. i hope we both get in. and if i dont get in I HOPE SHE GETS IN. cos, we're team St George Girls. Also, i looked up the drama ensemble group on facebook, and a lotta the people that got in , theres only 18, were from selective schools. for all those dills out there who think drama is a bludge subject which requires zero thinking, think again. :)
also, today, in bang, i got to the final part, so im really happy. but taylor wsnt here today. but okay i dont care. im roud. if i could be that focused and at my best on the day, and EVEN BETTER, i know i can step it up, ill be proud.

As a fellow dramarite, I feel obliged to give you all the luck I can possibly give you. I wish you all the best. Contrary to what the marks may say, you are the best actor I have ever had the pleasure to know. Better than Taylor, better that Laura, and I'm proud to admit that you're definitely better than me. If anybody deserves to be in the state drama ensemble it's you! You're not just talented you're a genius. Seriously.
On Wednesday night relax, and don't sweat it, because you're as good as in anyway. On thursday, go out there and have fun and remember that I'll be watching over you like the creepy stalker freak I am. Be brilliant carms.
