Today is Christmas DAY!!!which is great!!! i always feel really calm on christmas day, and the whole street is so quiet it scares me. I was just thinking....when was the time when people would celebrate Christmas because of Jesus and not for the public holiday itself, the expensive electronic presents and Santa Clause. Although I myself am not a Christian, I find it kind of worrying. When you watch the news on Christmas Day, 90% of Christmas related reports are all about the kinds presents kids are recieving and other things that are not related to the actual meaning of Christmas. Only 10% is about the actual church service at St Mary's cathedral and we dont really want to watch that part, because it makes us (some of us anyway) guilty that we are not saying our prayers and thanking God for what we have, and partying hard when we are supposed to be going to church in the morning.
Hope you guys remember what Christmas is really about.(the answer is love), and yeah, have a good one my lovelies.

wow carmen you really do post in clumps! like.. nothing for a few days.. and then a whole heap! anyway I think Christmas has ceased to be about Jesus and CXhristianity anyway.. people in XChina even celebrate it. It's just such a jolly time.. I'm sure people do thank god in their own way..
